Travel Cruise: Brides, Have you considered a Honeymoon Cruise?
Where to spend your first days as a married couple is an important decision. You want to be able to spend time alone with your new spouse but you also need to be able to have the opportunity to experience new things together. A honeymoon cruise will allow you to enjoy those early days whilst someone else takes care of all the arrangements.
Many cruise liners now offer special packages to honeymooners. Although you’ll be lucky to find a ship that actually has a ‘bridal suite’ you will find that some cruise liners will offer incentives to newlyweds on their honeymoon such as champagne, a special photo-op with the captain, commemorative certificate and so on. The incentives vary from one cruise company to another, as do the costs of these honeymoon bonuses, so shop around and see who can make your honeymoon the most special!
With this being a honeymoon cruise you need to ensure that you get the right kind of cabin. Many liners do have cabins that have queen or double sized beds in them, but there aren’t many per ship so you must specifically request this, or alternatively splash out on a suite that will make your honeymoon even more special. You should also check where the cabin in located - below the basketball court, or disco for example may make for a noisy start to your marriage! A few days before departure, ring the cruise company and confirm that you have been allocated the a cabin in the right area, and that does have the right kind of bed in it - otherwise you may turn up to find that you and your new husband are sleeping in separate cabin bunks on your honeymoon!
Whether you decide to cruise in exotic sunshine in the Caribbean, or opt for whale watching on an Alaskan cruise, your honeymoon cruise is sure to set your marriage off on the right note.
