Travel the World

When you’re going to a different part of the world for your vacation make sure you do some research on the culture of the area where you are going.  Some cultures are very different to your own and require certain behavior codes to be observed by their visitors.  This could be something as simple as requiring you to wear a hat as a sign of respect for a religion, to having a bikini top on when sunning yourself in a public area.  Displays of affection that can be interpreted as sexual, and which may be brushed aside with a wink and a warning in your own country could (as has happened recently) turn in a criminal charge at your vacation destination.

Make sure you check up on what’s expected of you culturally at your destination and you’re sure to have a great holiday without worrying if you’re breaking the law.
